Go to Google and search for fake nails for kids. Go on, do it. We’ll wait. It’s actually one of the suggested searches in Google if you start typing “false nails”. That, in itself, is an issue. Why is it a problem? Well, it’s mostly because we don’t think that fake nails should be sold to kids - they cause more issues than they’re worth.
While we understand the teenage mentality, or try to, and there are instances where they could be acceptable, we also need to sit down and talk about the issues that are developing all across the country.
Fake Nails - The Issue Among Young?
So let’s talk about false nails for a moment. They’re great, right? They’re a lot of fun and they look good, not to mention that we make sure we always provide people with the best possible options when it comes to strength and durability.
However, we also can not deny that they can be inappropriate for a lot of situations too. When you’re trying to write, perform complicated tasks with your hands, or simply just stay active, fake nails can be a massive hindrance.
Education - Nails Need Not Apply
The issue that a lot of people face is that when it comes to fake nails, they find themselves being used in some strange places. There are a lot of instances where you will find that people shouldn’t have these false nails but they do, and it leads to issues further down the road. So, what do you do when this happens? Well, the best thing that a lot of people can do is simply not wear them.
More specifically, we’re looking at the younger generation and we’re not sure that they’re a good idea. Fake nails can be a lot of good things, but we don’t encourage people to use them while they’re in education. You’re there to learn valuable skills and knowledge for the future, not to look nice!
We’re all keen to look our best when we’re out and about. It’s a basic thing, but you have to learn when to recognise context. There are moments to do things like this and then there are moments to not do things like this. It’s all about that awareness, and it’s not easy, but anyone can cultivate it!
So, while we do make efforts to make sure that false nails are readily available for everyone, we also know how important it can be for people to try and set boundaries. We personally don’t recommend that schoolchildren experiment with false nails while they’re at school - it isn’t sensible and will just interrupt their studies. There is a time and a place for everything and learning how context works is so important for everyone, so it is critical to try and figure out exactly what it is that you need to know in the way of social awareness. Keep the nails for social occasions -and grab some for your mom this Mother's Day as she deserves to feel special!
